今回は、Miley Cyrusの"We Can't Stop"を訳しました。

この曲は、音楽としては好きなんですけど
歌詞にしろMVにしろ私の好みではない（笑
むしろ近づきたくない感じです。

まあ、これに限らず最近のMileyにはついていけてないんですけど…
曲は好きになっても、こうMiley見たいってはならない感じ。
それを考えると、ちょっとおりこうさんに訳しすぎたかも（笑
となんだかんだ言ってますが、この曲はお気に入りです。

ちょっとMVは最初見た時、衝撃を受けてしまったので

さて、私がこの曲をたぶん最初に聞いたのが、こちらの動画です。

これ聞いて好きになったんです。
んで、Audio版もヘビーローテーションだったわけです。

それで出てきたMVがこちら。

あっ、そうなるんだ…
って感じでもうびっくりしてしまいました。

私こういうパーティーには絶対に行かない（笑

訳す時には、まったく触れなかったんですが、
実はこの歌詞、ドラッグに関するフレーズがいくつかあるんですよね。

まずは、

この部分。MollyというのがMDMAを指す隠語らしいです。
MDMAというと合成麻薬ですね。違法です。日本でもアメリカでも。

それとダンスっていうんだから、ちょっとまずい…
まあ、Mileyサイドは否定しているわけですが。

それからあとひとつ。

我先にと並んでいるわ

もっとクラクラしよう

"get a line in the bathroom"というのがどうも
「トイレでコカインをやる」って意味に取れるらしいです。

lineの意味の中に
「〈俗〉〔鼻で吸い込めるように〕直線状に並べた粉末ドラッグ」
というのがあるんですよね。

なんか長くなってしまいましたが
ドラッグなんて何があってもダメ絶対！です！
