前回に引き続きTaylor Swift の曲をご紹介します。
"Speak Now"を訳してみました。
かわいらしくてTaylor の曲の中でも私が大好きな曲です。

ところで"Speak Now"ってどういう意味かご存知でしょうか？
訳してみるまで気にもとめなかったんですが…
結婚式で神父様が話す言葉なんですね。

普通に「いま言って」くらいにしか思ってなかったんですけど
"If anyone thinks these two shall not wed, speak now or forever hold your peace"
「もしこの結婚に異議のある者があれば、今すぐ申し出なさい。さもなくば永遠に沈黙なさい」
っていうのが元というか、"Speak Now"はこのセリフのことを指しているようです。
訳してみてわかること気づくことってほんとにいろいろあるなーと思う今日このごろです。

こちらの動画はワールドツアーやった時のかな？
手の込んだ演出です。Taylorのダンスも見れますし。
青というか紫色のドレスも似合ってますね。

ライブの時は腕にお気に入りの歌詞？を書いてるらしくて
左腕になんて書いてるんだろうってちょっと気になってるんですけどなんだろうなー。
